36 years ago, the Hawaii Catholic Charismatic Renewal Services (HCCRS) began bringing dynamic Charismatic speakers, from around the world to Hawaii, to stir into flame the gifts of the HOLY SPIRIT.  This year we are pleased to present one of the currently highly sought after speakers in the United States, Fr. Dave Pivonka, TOR.


About Fr. Dave

Fr. David Pivonka, TOR Fr. David Pivonka

Father Pivonka is a nationally known conference speaker around the United States.  He is well known to youth conference attendees from San Diego to Nova Scotia. Fr. Dave spends much of his time helping others come to know God’s love for them through his dynamic preaching, writings, CDs, and other spiritual outreaches.

Fr. Dave’s books include Spiritual Freedom: God’s Life Changing Gift, Hiking the Camino: 500 Miles with Jesus, and the forthcoming Encounter Jesus: Discovery to Discipleship.


Father Dave has held several ministry positions at Franciscan University, and was also the Director of Seminary Formation for his Franciscan Community in Washington, D.C. Fr. Dave is presently the Director of Franciscan Pathways an evangelistic/preaching outreach of his Franciscan Community.

The 36th annual HCCRS Regional Conference will be held in the Community Hall at the Clarence T. C. Ching Campus of Catholic Charities Hawaii, 1822 Ke’eaumoku Street in Honolulu (corner of Ke’eaumoku and Nehoa – see map).

The site can be reached by exiting H-1 at Punahou or Lunalilo streets.  The facility is handicapped accessible with ample parking available.  There are approximately 100 parking stalls under the hall and are arranged for double parking. We plan to have someone to help direct parking. Kindly adhere to instructions from those who are volunteering in this ministry. On-street limited parking is also available.


Book Ministries

The Daughters of St. Paul, a leading Catholic store for books, music, movies, apps, and religious gifts, will be on hand on Friday and Saturday to offer media resources that you can trust to be authentically rooted in Catholic Identity.  Our own Book Ministry will be offering many books about the Charismatic Renewal from Chariscenter USA (National Service Committee) and Renewal Ministries. We will also be distributing Conference Shirts (Tees and Polos)


Each must do as already determined, without sadness or compulsion, for GOD loves a cheerful giver. (2 Corinthians 9:7)

The suggested pre-registration donation, to help us cover Conference expenses, is: $45 for general; $20 for students; $35 for seniors.  Clergy and Religious are free.   Seating is limited so register today.
