“I know your works, your labor, and your endurance, and that you cannot tolerate the wicked; you have tested those who call themselves apostles but are not, and discovered that they are impostors. Moreover, you have endurance and have suffered for MY Name, and you have not grown weary. Yet I hold this against you: you have lost the love you had at first.” (Revelation 2:2-4)
Our keynote speaker, Fr. Killian has an interesting story. After serving as a Diocesan Priest for 30 years, the HOLY SPIRIT called him into Religious Life where he regained “the love he had at first”. He had pastored several parishes in the Diocese of Scranton, served as: Director of Religious Formation; a High School Principal; Spiritual Moderator for Marriage Encounter; Vicar for Priests, Charismatic Renewal Liaison to the Bishop there. Fr. Killian also served the Charismatic Renewal on a National level: was a member of the NSC Association of Diocesan Liasons (’95-’01) including Executive Committee Chairman (’98-’01). He also served on the National Service Committee (’02-’10) and was Chairman from (’09-’10). However, the words from Revelation 2:4 made him realize something was missing.
Today, he is an on-fire Benedictine Monk of St. Vincent Archabbey, the Director of Campus Ministry at St. Vincent College, Latrobe, Penn., and giving inspiring talks at Conferences and Retreats.
Come to our first Annual Winter Conference, Fr. Killian will help you to regain “the love you had at first”.
